jeff oaster Despite some lineup turnover, these guys really hit their stride on this one. The opening track is loaded with riff and even dabbles with a jazzy time-sig. Only one vocal track, and that one is pretty awesome. Favorite track: Oko.

Peter Jones The depth and complexity show TNBD to be above so many bands in the genre - the musical ideas here are treated with care and not stretched or padded. No excesses, just good sensitive playing, bringing the sounds to life. Favorite track: Orogenic.

Alex Mueller Great post-rock, progressive music! Every now and then I get a Tool vibe from them but that's definitely not a bad thing. I listen to this at work a lot and it really helps to keep the stress down and to just drown everything out. All in all, a great record! Favorite track: Oko.
